Antique Chinese Red Lacquer Parcel Gilt Trunk
A striking antique Chinese red lacquer trunk with beautifully aged character and ornate parcel-gilt decoration. The rectangular case features circular longevity medallions, scrolling floral motifs, traditional metal hardware, side carrying handles, and a hinged lid. Raised on a later black wood base with a fitted glass top, it has been thoughtfully adapted as a distinctive Asian antique coffee or cocktail table.
